"Whittard Black Tea Earl Grey Loose Leaf Tea Packet / 125g / 4.4oz.

This classic blend of quality leaf Indian and China teas is flavoured with bergamot. Originally famous as a luxurious afternoon tea named after an English Prime Minister, it would be drunk lightly brewed usually without milk in all the best houses. Today it is enjoyed as an all-day tea, often brewed a little stronger and drunk with milk.

Brewing: Brew using 2 or 3 teaspoons (5-8g) in a 6-cup (1 litre) tepot. Warm the pot first with a splash of hot water. Add the tea and pour on boiling water. Brew for 4-5 minutes.

Ingredients: Black teas from India and China, Bergamot Aroma.

Water, sunshine, nutrients from the earth. That's what goes into the stevia plant. Then nature works her magic and creates a wonderfully sweet taste. Next, we steep the leaves, much like making tea, that begins the process of capturing rebiana, the best tasting part of the stevia plant. Ultimately, this little leaf gives back a recipe for sweetness that's both delicious and zero-calorie guilt free. Try a spoonful of this sparkly-goodness in your coffee. Truvia natural sweetener is a sweet little something that satisfies your cravings without adding calories.

Whittard Black Tea Assam Loose Leaf Tea Packet / 125g / 4.4oz. Feature

Whittard Black Tea Assam Loose Leaf Tea Packet / 125g / 4.4oz.

A strong small leaf with a hint of proper Assam 'malt flavour' that takes milk well. The British started growing tea in the Assam plains along the Brahmaputra River Valley in Northern India in 1840. This recipe has hardly changed from Mr Whittard's 1960s recipe, using mainly neatly made orthodox (the old-fashioned rolling method) tea leaves for their quality and character.

Brewing: Usually drunk strong with milk. Boil freshly drawn cold water, warm the pot. Use 3 to 4 teaspoons of leaves or 2 to 3 teabags in a 6-cup teapot. Brew for 3-5 minutes. Pour the milk into your cup before the tea. Alternatively brew one teabag in a mug or cup. Remove the teabag when the tea is the strength you require. Add milk afterwards.

Ingredients: Pure Assam tea from Northern India.
